Our trauma-informed therapists provide a safe, respectful environment where you can understand what is happening and develop practical ways to feel more stable. Depending on your needs and readiness, treatment may incorporate:
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT): Helps you recognize and work through trauma-related beliefs involving safety, trust, control, self-esteem, responsibility and intimacy.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): Helps the brain process distressing memories so they feel less immediate and overwhelming.
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Helps identify and change patterns of thinking and behaviour that may be maintaining distress.
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Supports psychological flexibility and helps you reconnect with meaningful areas of life.
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy-informed strategies: Supports emotional regulation, distress tolerance and coping during overwhelming moments. You will not be pressured to disclose every detail before you are ready. Therapy may begin with emotional regulation, coping strategies, sleep, safety and understanding your nervous system before moving into deeper trauma processing.
Your workplace health-benefits plan may cover therapy with a Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Social Worker or another eligible regulated clinician. Coverage depends on your specific plan and the clinician’s designation. Receipts are provided for insurance reimbursement.
You do not have to continue carrying this alone.
